REIGN OF RUSH

For much of the Laws of the Land, Rush is a loose supporter at best. He believes they should be followed to a point; should they get in the way of a Riverbloom wolf's survival, they should be ignored and/or broken. Some are more important, such as those dealing with pups and inner-Kingdom relations. Others, such as those regarding prey, matter very little. However, he is notably lax about trespassing, and will be more disappointed if a wolf under his watch is caught than he is by the actual act.

Rush's personal relationship with the Kingdom of Stars is strained and that is no secret. He despises the idea that they have any amount of control over their lives, yet maintains a wary sort of respect for their miracles. He may not like it, but he will begrudgingly admit they are there. He cares not whether the members of his Kingdom care for the Kingdom of the Stars or not, so long as they have loyalty to Riverbloom. As for his Corvidae, he is no fool; he realizes that the miracles that those chosen by the ravens are not their own. However, he will respect them more for their talents as a healer with herbs than he will their relationship with the Kingdom of the Stars. 

Currently at war with all other Kingdoms. As he has always been a believer in the idea that merit, personal reputation, and what you do while alive matters more than what the heavens above say about ancient bloodlines and their own power, he openly scorns the other Kingdoms and their beliefs. This causes things to be strained even when they are not at war with each other. 

Rush will not tolerate forbidden romances. He sees this as both an insult to the wolves of Riverbloom and one of the most severe betrayals a wolf can commit. However, halfpack pups have yet to prove themselves either way, and there is strength in numbers. As a result, the parent will be driven out while the pups will be adopted/fostered by another Denmother and raised as full-blood Riverbloom wolves. They will not be told of their heritage and Rush will not take kindly to anyone holding it over them. As for his Corvidae, he wouldn't care if the vow was broken. So long as they could continue their duty to their Kingdom (and kept it within the clan), he would ignore it. 

Rush isn't one to chase off wolves without a good reason. As he doesn't put any faith in the idea of bloodlines being special, he believes greatness can be born anywhere. That means any wolf, rogue or loner, could be valuable or important. Naturally he will be suspicious of wolves on his territory but offer them a place within his pack - with the condition that if they refuse or later prove themselves unworthy in any way, they will be driven out. Any individual found to be lurking around after this might suffer worse consequences.
