The Plateaus
Between the mountains are great plateaus of open rocky earth lined with tall pine trees. These areas are perfect for hunting as they allow the wolves enough room to move about without climbing areas that are too steep. The steep sides of the plateaus grow into the ridges of the mountains quickly, providing an easy way to corner prey or to surprise them from above.

The Cliff
Near where the river meets the edge of the mountain and begins its descent into the Great Waterfall, the ground finally evens itself out into a grassy field. This field is lush and cool, allowing it to be the ideal place for Guardians to train their Greenhorns. Although no trees grow in the clearing, there are several bushes and smaller greenery dotting the landscape.

The Astral Ridge
One of the highest ridges along the mountainous area that the wolves call home. This ridge is of most importance to the wolves as it is where the Kingdom of Stars can be best seen, and the wolves of the Kingdom of Stars are known to descend from the stars here in wild colors of blues and greens to dance through the sky. (Aurora borealis)

The Kingdom of Astralridge is known for its large and ominous mountains, but the inhabitants know them as freeing and spacious. The landscape here still has areas of forest lower in the territory, but the peaks of the mountains are bare. Most of the ground is rough and rocky, yet the areas where the river runs through the mountains has smoother rocks from erosion. The river here dips and turns often, with many small waterfalls breaking it into portions before the Great Waterfall.
