Welcome to the first-ever Spring Festival on A Falling Star! We are hosting a multitude of events over the course of the next month to finish off Spring and bring us into Summer. Contests, drawings, races, you name it - we’ve got it! We are starting off the event with the introduction of our first ever site-wide plot - Omen in the Sky. Each of the Kingdom’s Corvidae have been given a message from the Kingdom of Stars - the Kingdoms must bring about peace or face certain doom, but the War has been raging for generations. Will the Corvidae be able to talk sense into their Alphas, or will the Kingdoms have to face the doom that the Stars predict alone. We can’t wait to find out! Below is a list of just a few of the bonuses and events that we will be having over the course of the next month.
First to WIN or LOSE a spar using our dice-rolling system will receive a prize!

We are a fantasy wolf roleplay centered around three warring Kingdoms and the wolves that call them home. The wolf's ancestors; the Kingdom of Stars, are directly linked to the living wolves. They give Alphas the strength to lead for moons past what would have been their prime, and the Corvidae the ability to heal their fellow packmates through prayer. We are semi-literate, only requiring 150 words per post at a minimum! Please check out our Laws of the Land board for more information, and join us on DISCORD to get to know us better!
3.25.2019 UPDATE HERE! It's officially been a week since opening! We have added a Pup Prediction System, a Fighting System, as well as a huge update to our Shop! Congratulations to Rosa on Global Moderator, and Tali on Pup Predictor!
3.17.2019 A Falling Star has officially open! We are now accepting applications for all higher ranks, as well as applications for staff! Thank you for joining us!
3.15.2019 - The flowers are blooming, and the prey is running plentiful. Afternoon showers are a frequent occurance across the land, and many newborns are being welcomed into the world after a particularly harsh winter. Major storms seem to be holding back until the Summer, yet the river still runs swiftly.

3.22.2019 - The Corvidae for the Kingdom of Astralridge passed away without a Greenhorn to take his place. How will they cope?
Campion believes the laws of the land serve an important purpose. In her eyes, they create a framework for the average wolf to base their life upon. She thinks they should be followed... but only as far as they benefit Sacredwood or Campion herself. Some of the laws have obvious benefits such as protecting the kingdom and only killing prey if it is meant to be eaten. If the alpha's word is law and loyalty is expected, the benefits to Campion are quite obvious. When it comes to pups, Campion can be said to have something of a soft spot and she doesn't take the concept of them being mistreated very well. In Campion's eyes, children are innocent, one of the few creatures who really are. Campion also, generally, expects her kingdom to respect the borders of other kingdoms, but only because the potential consequences for trespassing or stealing prey could be dangerous.
With all the above said, any rule can be broken if the circumstances are right. Campion generally expects her wolves to follow the laws, but if the benefits outweigh the risks and consequences, then she's happy to throw the law away and do whatever must be done to further the kingdom. However, actions that bring misfortune to the kingdom with little clear benefit are likely to be punished harshly.
.02 ― THE KINGDOM OF STARS
Campion sees the ancestors as immutable. They are a force that no living wolf can oppose and she respects them, especially because she believes she was chosen to lead Sacredwood. By the same turn, she justifies a lot of her unsavory actions because she believes she was chosen. In her eyes, the Kingdom of the Stars knew who and what she was before choosing her, so therefore her views on the laws are clearly something the ancestors support.
Campion doesn't expect her wolves to revere the Kingdom of the Stars or worship them openly, but she does expect them to show proper respect. She also expects their rituals, signs, and direct commands to be followed. A Sacredwood wolf doing something intentionally to anger them is likely to be punished severely.
.03 ― KINGDOM RELATIONS
The other kingdoms are their enemies, plain and simple. They occupy territory that Sacredwood might otherwise hunt in, threaten their borders, and are in general a threat to Sacredwood's way of life. If not for each kingdom's respective might, Campion very well might aim to take over their territories and claim all of the lands for Sacredwood. Wolves of other kingdoms are treated with extreme suspicion, though more regard is given to Corvidae because they are selected by the Kingdom of the Stars.
Corvidae are strictly off limits for any form of aggression or harassment unless they show aggression first and the pups of other kingdoms are to be treated amicably. Even though Campion feels great disdain for the other kingdoms, she is not above helping them or doing them a favor if she thinks she can use it to her advantage, but the alpha does not approve of any of her wolves doing them a kindness simply for the sake of it. For Campion to do them a favor, she expects one in return and would have her wolves to do the same.
When it comes to meetings at the borders where no trespassing is involved or outside them, Campion would have Sacredwood wolves behave cordially, unless she gives orders otherwise. Envoys from other kingdoms who seek an audience with her are not to be invited back to camp, but they should not be attacked unless they act with aggression. Campion would have a guardian return to camp to fetch her for the meeting instead. Trespassers are to be interrogated if the reason for their presence is not immediately evident, then dispatched from the territory as quickly as possible. Campion expects the guardians involved to report back to her immediately regarding the event. Guardians are encouraged to use force to send them packing, but it isn't necessary if the guardian doesn't feel the situation calls for it.
.04 ― FORBIDDEN ROMANCES & HALFPACK PUPS
To have a romance within another kingdom is to betray Sacredwood and means the perpetrator cannot be trusted. Being as trust is something that Campion values highly, there is an excellent chance that the offender will be cast out of Sacredwood, but not always guaranteed. Campion is not one to punish pups for crimes they themselves did not commit, however. Pups that result from these illicit affairs will be raised as full-blooded Sacredwood wolves, but their parent will not be permitted to be a part of their life if they are permitted to remain in the kingdom.
However, Campion is not one to keep their parentage a secret from them. This is not to disparage the pups. Frankly, it is meant to do the opposite. Campion hopes it will encourage them to work even harder for Sacredwood. She will not tolerate mistreatment of halfpack pups and if it is discovered, it will be dealt with harshly.
.04 ― ROGUES
The reason for their presence determines how Campion responds to strangers in her territory. Loners and rogues that are interested in joining the kingdom will be assessed. If Campion finds them satisfactory, they will be permitted to join, but watched closely for several moons to ensure they are genuine. If for whatever reason she feels they have broken the kingdom's trust or become a threat, they will be banished. Campion has not forgotten that she entered Sacredwood as an outsider and believes worthy strangers are excellent editions to the pack. If they are present for any other reason, they are to be interrogated and then driven out as quickly as possible.
