We are a fantasy wolf roleplay centered around three warring Kingdoms and the wolves that call them home. The wolf's ancestors; the Kingdom of Stars, are directly linked to the living wolves. They give Alphas the strength to lead for moons past what would have been their prime, and the Corvidae the ability to heal their fellow packmates through prayer. We are semi-literate, only requiring 150 words per post at a minimum! Please check out our Laws of the Land board for more information, and join us on DISCORD to get to know us better!
3.25.2019 UPDATE HERE! It's officially been a week since opening! We have added a Pup Prediction System, a Fighting System, as well as a huge update to our Shop! Congratulations to Rosa on Global Moderator, and Tali on Pup Predictor!

Odd bedraggled she-wolf with yellow eyes and creamy grey fur colors.
→ appearance ←
This bedraggled female is a dull mishmash of cream, grey, and brown. She has a round frame and an uneven coat as well. Her eyes are a dull pale yellow, but for the most part, she's pretty normal. When Egg moves, however, her lope is most often awkward and wobbly, unfortunately pushing the false agenda that she has the mind the size of a raccoon turd. She constantly appears to be in a trembling state furthermore. As if she couldn't look any more pathetic, Egg is only 3.1 feet long, 2.5 feet tall to the shoulder and 70 lbs in weight. Her left eye spins and twitches uncontrollably, which only compliments her already strange grin and her... other unique attributes.

Witty ― Inane― Solitary
Make no mistake, Egg is an old crazy lady. Or so she will tell you. With an aged experience, she has plenty of wit to flaunter about, concealed as mere antics of her usual inappropriate ways. Why she insists so on being this strange icon of... inane abnormality... is beyond all those that encounter her. Being as witty as she is you'd expect her to act as if she has at least two brain cells, but she doesn't. Not unless other wolves need to be... "educated." Let's just say you don't want to piss off Ol Auntie Egg.
However.
There is more to Egg than just how she presents herself. This wolf, though enjoys the company of others, is fiercely independent. This is one of the reasons why she prefers her solitary ways over pack life. For years, she's only had to rely on her own self-preservation, and hey, it's gotten her this far. And it will take her farther still than any pack can. It may not be the way of a proper wolf, but it's her way. And that's all that matters.
→ history ←
She was born into a remote pack with a home hidden away within an isolated valley. Egg was the weakest of her litter. The young wolf was so feeble in fact it was believed her bones would break due to the tiniest amount of force applied. Hence the name, "Egg," for her fragility. It was feared that she and her sisters would never be able to survive on their own. And thus, naturally, as all paranoid parents do, they tried to prepare them for the future. Egg grew up learning that a pack is everything to a wolf. Her pack preached the following nursery rhyme to their young, to instill in them permanent conditioning of this concept.
“This is the way of the wolf, as is the way of the pack. United in purpose you prosper, dead if unity you lack. For beings who walk alone, weak and daft they are. Their hearts shalln't beat, and their legs shalln't taketh them far. May their graves go unremembered, and may their legacies erode. As they are the lost, who dare disobey pack code."
Over time, after innumerable moonless nights, Egg grew restless. Her duty within her pack was not to learn how to fight and hunt alongside the others, but how to raise their pups. It was an expected and pleasurable role, as she was the weakest and surely the most motherly of her kin. Egg's days were spent speaking with the youth, providing them a counselor and a shoulder to cry on if need be. These days were warm and pure, and still, are fresh in her memory.
But, the best-laid schemes of tender folk go often askew, leaving only bitterness. Her mother and father, now alphas of their growing pack, announced that a coalition of lone wolves had invaded their territory. Egg, only knowing the lies she had been told as a pup, assumed these loners were "the lost," wolves who had twisted marrows and minds. Animals, who desperately had clawed their way into their territory to cling to their leaders and beg they be embraced into the pack. None of Egg's pack, nor her, believed they would act otherwise. So immersed in the lie they had created, her mother and father didn't think twice to order they all to track down and slaughter these strangers. Their perfectly unified life was not to be disturbed by... mere rogues. Egg's entire pack joined in on this hunt, tracking down and eventually swarming the coalition. Battles were waged. Blood was spilled. And her pack returned home as if was just another day. Not wolf was spared. And not a wolf from the coalition had floored her family. After this, her pack took on more effective means of conditioning. Conditioning even she had passed on to those she taught. More loners were being found and killed due to extensive territory patrols and better security, which seemed all too perfect to Egg at the time.
But her delusional way of thinking didn't last. One day, after a particularly bloody fight with a lone female, Egg had lingered behind to scout the area for more trouble. To her displeasure, she had found another she-wolf. Her belly was swollen with pups. At first, Egg was skeptical and interrogated the terrified escapee. In her mind, it was just another loner to deal with. Another "lost" that had to be removed from this earth immediately. What Egg learned from this experience was something she had never imagined. Loners were just wolves. Regular wolves. The mother had begged her not to do anything, stating she wanted to see her pups live out their days and lead them through their lives. Egg, having been raising pups all her life, had been swayed to help her instantly. Knowing her pack would not approve, Egg hid the female within a secluded den. In secrecy, she helped raised the female's litter. Egg learned more and more about the world outside her valley each visit and grew closer and closer to the female she was helping.
And then it happened.
Egg's little scheme was discovered by one of her sisters, and immediately the pack had come to drag her, the mother, and the pups, to a secluded area. Once she was allowed to, Egg assumed a protective stance over the wolf and pups she had come to love. Egg hated to choose between those she cared about, but couldn't let anyone die. Her pack deemed her as a traitor, that is until Egg started telling them the truth. The real truth. There was a world beyond their home full of other packs, other wolves, and other families. The world did not revolve around them. Her parents, who had now been exposed as liars, quickly explained that they thought none of the pack would have grown so strong without their "guidance." To Egg's horror, her world began ripping itself to pieces. Her family, livid with fury, began fighting and attacking one another. Before Egg could get the mother loner, her official mate, the wolf was slaughtered in the craze. Two of the wolf's pups also subcombed to the fury of her family, specifically her sisters. Only one of the precious pups remained. Egg snagged the pup and fled, willing to run to the end of the world to keep it alive. She was pursued by her two sisters, who wished only to bring death to her and the pup. During the madness, lightning from the storm above struck and set aflame the only escape Egg really had out of their territory. Blind in her panic, and driven by her will to protect her mate's last pup, Egg ran into the nest of flame. In a critical moment of life or death later in the chase, she lept a flaming wall of fire to safety. Her sisters perished in the flames behind her.
Now free from the shackles of her family, Egg had but one goal. She would raise the remaining traumatized pup on her own, and live in solitude for the remainder of her days. There was no better loyalty than loyalty to herself and her own heart. After the pup was brought up fully, it had left Egg to find a life of its own. Which, of course, Egg encouraged. Having been denied that right long ago herself, she didn't wish that experience upon a single soul.
As she aged, Egg's left eye began to change. She knew she had a lazy eye, that was nothing new. However, it began to skitter about now uncontrollably. Finding the humor in it instead of the bad, Egg adopted a strange personality to fit her unusual look. Let idiots see her as undesirable, it wasn't like she was going to join a pack or obtain another mate anytime soon. Plus, an old girl has to have some fun now and then.
Without a pup to look after, she wandered the lands aimlessly. Eventually, after three or so years, Egg came across the kingdoms. They seemed utterly unappealing to her, so she remains a loner to this day.
