Welcome to the first-ever Spring Festival on A Falling Star! We are hosting a multitude of events over the course of the next month to finish off Spring and bring us into Summer. Contests, drawings, races, you name it - we’ve got it! We are starting off the event with the introduction of our first ever site-wide plot - Omen in the Sky. Each of the Kingdom’s Corvidae have been given a message from the Kingdom of Stars - the Kingdoms must bring about peace or face certain doom, but the War has been raging for generations. Will the Corvidae be able to talk sense into their Alphas, or will the Kingdoms have to face the doom that the Stars predict alone. We can’t wait to find out! We are a fantasy wolf roleplay centered around three warring Kingdoms and the wolves that call them home. The wolf's ancestors; the Kingdom of Stars, are directly linked to the living wolves. They give Alphas the strength to lead for moons past what would have been their prime, and the Corvidae the ability to heal their fellow packmates through prayer. 3.15.2019 - The flowers are blooming, and the prey is running plentiful. Afternoon showers are a frequent occurance across the land, and many newborns are being welcomed into the world after a particularly harsh winter. Major storms seem to be holding back until the Summer, yet the river still runs swiftly.

3.22.2019 - The Corvidae for the Kingdom of Astralridge passed away without a Greenhorn to take his place. How will they cope?
Just shy of noon and the sun was blazing over in a near perfect vertical line of them. The cold caress of the mountain's winds had died considerably as the decent became more obvious, as the vegetation grew thicker until the bushes and sparce trees evolved to rows of grass. Fresh, green, and full of life- and all the better to chew for the golden wolf whose nerves were eating him raw. Almost literally. Almost. His fumbling down the looser paths did much to keep his senses honed- even if it felt like his claws were going to abandon him after all that effort. Not to mention the once or twice that he had... 'skidded' down a steeper drop in his negligence to keep his eyes on the road- that hardly helped him any better.
Now it was no mystery that the giant, bumbling mess of fur was something of a known klutz. He knew that. But it was the company that he was keeping that had him red all the way from his nose to his ears in utter shame. By some wild whim of courage, a fart in the wind he'd say; something managed to poke him right in the butt to invite what was undoubtedly one of the Kingdom's most important wolves on a patrol of all things. Not even a hunt, something that might have been slightly less dangerous, or even a simple walk (the thought alone was enough to make him want to bury his head in the rocks)- but a full on patrol. After the sickness. In their weakened state. Toward danger.
More than once did Wheat find his eyes lingering a bit too long on the shining female, not even all of his willpower could stop his ears from lingering back out of pure shyness. Orchid- the alpha, and a sign of hope to a decimated Kingdom. But to him... she was a star. Not the dead kind mind you- but the prettiest, shining one. Again he caught himself staring toward her after trying to vault another rock- of course that ended only so well. A stumble and a protesting pair of front paws were his reward. No surprise there... again.
And yet he found his physical pain was far less than the multiple attempts he had tried at 'small talk'- mostly him starting something, some conversation, and then him managing to kill it with some horrible pun or an untimely joke or something worse. Too bad for him his learning curve wasn't exactly the bendiest of the bunch, a small wag of his tail and he'd tried to distract her from his mishap.
"So- um, the sheep looked fat this season." He gave a pup-ish grin, more sheepish really if a wolf could look any more pitiful while rivaling a bear.
