Welcome to the first-ever Spring Festival on A Falling Star! We are hosting a multitude of events over the course of the next month to finish off Spring and bring us into Summer. Contests, drawings, races, you name it - we’ve got it! We are starting off the event with the introduction of our first ever site-wide plot - Omen in the Sky. Each of the Kingdom’s Corvidae have been given a message from the Kingdom of Stars - the Kingdoms must bring about peace or face certain doom, but the War has been raging for generations. Will the Corvidae be able to talk sense into their Alphas, or will the Kingdoms have to face the doom that the Stars predict alone. We can’t wait to find out! Below is a list of just a few of the bonuses and events that we will be having over the course of the next month.
First to WIN or LOSE a spar using our dice-rolling system will receive a prize!
Character Acceptance Bonus - Be entered in a drawing to win a FREE companion!
Run for High Ranks and get free bones!
&& more!
We are a fantasy wolf roleplay centered around three warring Kingdoms and the wolves that call them home. The wolf's ancestors; the Kingdom of Stars, are directly linked to the living wolves. They give Alphas the strength to lead for moons past what would have been their prime, and the Corvidae the ability to heal their fellow packmates through prayer. We are semi-literate, only requiring 150 words per post at a minimum! Please check out our Laws of the Land board for more information, and join us on DISCORD to get to know us better!
3.25.2019 UPDATE HERE! It's officially been a week since opening! We have added a Pup Prediction System, a Fighting System, as well as a huge update to our Shop! Congratulations to Rosa on Global Moderator, and Tali on Pup Predictor!
3.17.2019 A Falling Star has officially open! We are now accepting applications for all higher ranks, as well as applications for staff! Thank you for joining us!
3.15.2019 - The flowers are blooming, and the prey is running plentiful. Afternoon showers are a frequent occurance across the land, and many newborns are being welcomed into the world after a particularly harsh winter. Major storms seem to be holding back until the Summer, yet the river still runs swiftly.

3.22.2019 - The Corvidae for the Kingdom of Astralridge passed away without a Greenhorn to take his place. How will they cope?
Her paws always lead her back here. No matter where she wandered, they always brought her back. The glen would welcome her on her worst days, and she would leave feeling less hopeless about the world. But she always came back.
Orange eyes fixated on her namesake as she walked into the glen. The dianthus flower seemed to mock her, pretty and pink and entirely fragile. While she was a wolf, the opposite of those things. Dianthus stared at the flower, stared at it long and hard. It mocked her. She dropped her head, cringing away, before trotting into the glen. Around her, the aroma of flowers brushed into her coat and smeared over her legs as she walked, a path only she knew. Petals and scents whisked and twirled in the air in a playful dance, only meant for them and the bees. She watched them for a moment, before continuing her trot through the flowers. She stopped in front of one, biting her lip. Gladiolus flowers. Immediately, she sat back, then flopped onto her side. The dark female rolled onto her back, looking over at the flower, then up at the sky.
“It looks like you” She said, glancing over at the flower, then back up at the clouds passing over. She could almost imagine her mentor's face in them for a brief moment, but it was quickly whirled away by the wind. Her face fell, her ears flitting back, before she caught herself and groaned. It had been so long. “Why does this still affect me? Its been moons!” She snapped at the sky, getting to her paws. She tore into the flowers, kicking up a storm of insects and birds that whirled about her form for the briefest of moments. She danced among the petals and spring air, springing high into the air, twisting and turning, graceless and graceful all at the same time. Her dance was hectic, angry, but freeing all at once. Everything felt alright for the time she danced, her paws striking the ground at an even pace. A hop here, a leap skyward here, before she eventually stopped, stumbling over herself as she came to a halt next to the flower again.
It wasn't fair. They took away the wolf who knew her best. But Dianthus had been coping for a long time. Maybe it was finally time she got over Gladiolus. Maybe it was time for her to become the Beta she was supposed to be. To stop letting the shadow of a long dead wolf dictate her future
Freesia loved the glen. Of course, she knew others liked it too, and she'd respect when they wanted to spend some time her alone, but it was like her own personal haven, her beautiful safe space filled with the most wonderful scents and most eye catching sight. Flowers. A clearing filled to the brim with blooming flowers, from tiny fragile daisies to big and beautiful roses - it was fun, picking out the flowers that matched to the names of wolves she knew. Her own, freesia, was here too. It came in so many beautiful, vibrant colors, and it was terribly difficult to pick her favorite.
The purple ones, though, they were wonderful. Yet the yellow ones were so vibrant, and the pink stood out so well.
Shaking her head, the young wolf touched her nose softly to one, then the other, before her nose brushed across a different flower. Dianthus, and its scent didn't hold only that of the flower. The Beta was here too. Ears pricking, the cream furred she-wolf rose her head, and peered around. Not far away, the dark fur of the Kingdom's second stood out against the flowers. Or, more so, lay down among them.
Head cocking softly, Freesia hesitated a moment, one paw half raised. She wasn't sure about interrupting the Beta - what if she was resting? Besides, she wasn't always the most sociable of wolves. However, that only lit a fire of determination in the Guardian's heart. She was going to get her Beta to smile, or laugh, even if it was at her own expense. So, tail swaying behind her, Freesia bounded forward through the flowers toward the raven furred wolf, picking up their cloying scents on her fur as she brushed past.
"Beta Dianthus," she greeted, warmth and respect coloring her voice even as a slight playful joy shone in her eyes. Resisting inciting play with the less gleeful wolf, Freesia sat her rump down and tried to contain herself. She couldn't, however, stop her tail from thumping happily against the grassy path of earth beside her as she awaited a greeting in return. "The flowers sure are pretty this Spring."
I could fill your cup you know my river won't evaporate this world we still appreciate
